Demonstration of Firstline – AMU Guidance for Production Animals

As part of the Stewardship of Antimicrobials by Veterinarians Initiative (SAVI), the CVMA hosted a demonstration of the Firstline App. The app is the product of a CVMA collaboration with the University of Calgary and Firstline aimed at hosting the updated CVMA Guidelines for Veterinary Antimicrobial Use on handheld devices for veterinary decision-support at point of care. The demo was held on November 24th, 2021 and included insights and examples from Dr. Murray Gillies with respect to the Dairy sector specifically.
