Demonstration of Firstline App – AMU Guidance for Companion Animals & Equine

As part of the Stewardship of Antimicrobials by Veterinarians Initiative (SAVI), the CVMA hosted a demonstration of the Firstline App. The app is the product of a CVMA collaboration with the University of Calgary and Firstline aimed at hosting the updated CVMA Guidelines for Veterinary Antimicrobial Use on handheld devices for veterinary decision-support at point of care. The demo was held on November 23rd, 2021 and included insights from Dr. Scott Weese and Dr. Allison Moore on implications for the Companion Animals and Equine sectors respectively.
